Our magical fairy-tale began on October 19 - 20th of 1996. 
We as in BAJABEACH and Tineke 
(dutch name for Tina) met on a channel on mIRC 
called #Netherlands on the Undernet Server. 

Dé aka BAJABEACH is originally from the Netherlands 

Tina aka Tineke (dutch for Tina) was raised in California. 

Love was magic from the first click. 
The first time we met we talked all day an all night. 
We couldn't wait to talk to each other again, our IRC conversations grew into telephone calls as well as our IRC chats. 
We could talk all day and night about everything and anything. We had so much fun getting to know each other. I could not believe that I had so many feelings for someone I have never seen before. The unique part about meeting someone from IRC is that you get to know the person from the inside to the outside. 
 
We both felt so lucky to have found each other. 
Our LOVE was growing into something so special that two people share. 
Within six weeks time we were in each other’s arms. 
Just in time for the holidays. 
The first day we met was on December 7th, 1996
This would be De’s first visit to the states. 
I hit traffic again and again on my way to LAX 
what a nightmare, once I finally made it to the right terminal I saw him, (ewww baby) 
It took us a few days to actually place our voices with our facial expressions. 

The match was perfect. 

Dé spent six weeks in California; we had a wonderful time being with each other, 
my kids loved him from the start. 
Dé had to go back to the Netherlands, 
within 49 days he was back in the states with his 
best friend Marco aka Blokker 
They both stayed for 4 weeks. Then in 65 days it was my turn to go back to Holland. I had not been back since 1986. 
(my parents imagrated to the states so I spent alot of time in Holland)
This would be my first vacation ever without my children 
I went back for 60 days. We had a wonderful time. 
We went all over Europe and for the first time 
I saw more of Holland then ever before.

We got married on September 5, 1997.
